Residents’ Associations and Village Societies stand apart from other mainstream political parties because that they have no interest in taking orders from Central Office, or supporting a ‘Party Line’ created by anonymous advisers in an ivory tower in Central London.
They do what they do because they simply wish to make life better for people in Elmbridge. That can be by helping businesses thrive, or pushing to make the roads safer – they are on your side in a borough that, beneath the surface, has many problems to be solved.
We think, by uniting the Residents' Associations and Village Societies to formulate policy, that we can be stronger together, build better policies and form a truly cohesive administration.
